Friends will be welcomed  Tuesday, August 21, 2018, 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm at the at the Rhome Funeral Home, Inc., 1209 Grand Blvd. Monessen, PA.Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday, August 22 at 11:00 am with Pastor Charles Schaller officiating.

 

Interment will follow at Mon Valley Memorial Park, Donora.Monessen Chapter #205 Order of Eastern Star will hold services on Tuesday at 7:00 pm in the funeral homeAdrienne's family would like to thank the Amedisys Hospice, especially Kayla, Terry, Jamie, Kristen and Bill and the many  others that helped care for her in her final days.

 

 

Obituary:

Adrienne Boyd Guth, 84 of Monessen, PA,died August 18, 2018, peacefully at her home with her family by her side after a 6 month illness.  She was born August 7, 1934  in Monongahela, a daughter of the late Raymond and Ida Romig Boyd. and the last of 10 children.  Adrienne had graduated Charleroi High School in 1953 and had retired from SuperValu (formerly Fox Grocery) .She was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Monongahela where she was a charter member of the Daughters of the King.  Adrienne was a Past Matron of Monessen Chapter #205 Order of the Eastern Star and presently was Grand Representative to Florida in Pennsylvania.  She was also Past Worthy High Priestess of Margaret E. Caven Shrine #32 in Donora and a member of the Carnegie Assembly #80 Social Order of the Beauceant.  Adrienne was also a member of the Valley Girls Red Hats Club.  Surviving are  her  Daughter and Son In Law- Toni Marie and husband Charles Younkin, and " Elmo" and "Blitz" her miniature Schaunzers, Several Nieces and  Nephews.She was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years Alfonso J. Guth in 1998.  Brothers- Raymond, Charles, Robert(Bill), Donald, James, Walter, and Sisters- Jean Chester, Sue Doenges, and Adele Zupan.  Several nieces and nephews.
