Viewing/Service: As per Anne’s request, there will be no viewing. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Rhome Funeral Home Inc. 1209 Grand Blvd. Monessen. Anne’s family would especially want to thank the Heartland Hospice staff for all their loving care, Lori, Suzie, LuAnn, Melanie, Michelle, Denise, and Steve. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Monessen Vol. Fire Dept. #1 or the Monessen Public Library.
Obituary:
Anne Dyky Dankosky, Monessen PA, passed away on September 23, 2016, surrounded by her family by her side. She was the daughter of the late Joseph Dyky and Mary Trojanowsky Dyky. She was born November 21, 1917, a member of St. Nicholas Ukrainian Orthodox Church and it’s sisterhood of Monessen. She was a loving Mother, Grandmother, and Great grand mother. She is survived by hers sons and daughters in law, Jerald A. Dankosky at home, James D. (Carol) Dankosky of Murrells Inlet South Carolina, Jean Dankosky of Mechanicsburg PA, grandchildren; John and wife Jen Dankosky of Connecticut, Jo and husband Andy Braden of California, Carl Dankosky of Texas, Nick and Mary Dankosky of New Cumberland PA, Kate Dankosky and companion Matt Schnierle of Cranberry Twp. PA, and great-grandson Wiley Braden of California, and many Nieces and Nephews, and her K-9 buddy Lexie. She was preceded in death by her husband John Dankosky in April 1966, and a son John W. Dankosky in February 1995, brothers; John, Walter, and Andrew Dyky, sisters; Mary Palmer and Olga Frencheck. As per Anne’s request, there will be no viewing.
