Services:Funeral prayers will begin at 10 AM Saturday, May 20, 2017 in the funeral home.

Obituary:
Arthur Larry Vasquez, 63' of Monessen passed away peacefully at his home Wednesday, May 17, 2017 after a hard fought battle with Cancer. He was born February 28, 1954, the son of the late Frank And Catherine Znavor Vasquez.
Arthur was a graduate of Monessen High School and worked at Volkswagen as well as Sony. He was famously known for his secret recipe margaritas and salsa and was the HEART of Team Vasquez. Arthur enjoyed deer hunting with his son and brothers, spending time with his family, and traveling the United States to watch his nephew Sammy Vasquez JR Box. Arthur was a proud grandfather of his two grandsons Gage Ashbaugh and Richard Arthur Skolak. Arthur lived by words he spoke daily which are FAMILY, FAITH, FRIENDS, FOREVER. He was a true inspiration to every life he has encountered and despite the courageous battle he was fighting he considered everyday he woke up a blessed day. Arthur is survived by his daughter Rachel Vasquez and son-in-law Rick Skolak, his son Ryan Vasquez and wife Nicole Ashbaugh; two grandsons Gage Ashbaugh and Richard Arthur Skolak; Four sisters and Six brothers, Maria Roule, Poncho Vasquez and wife Terri, Dennis Vasquez and wife Sharon, Ronnie Vasquez, Marty Vasquez and wife Anna Marie, Diana Alessio and husband Frank, Dolores Vasquez and husband Bill, Roseann Jericho and husband Jim, John Vasquez and wife Dawn, and Sam Vasquez in addition to numerous nieces and nephews. Arthur was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Catherine Znavor Vasquez, his sister Mercedes Beharry; his sister Bernadette Rossetti; his brother Louis Gene Vasquez and niece Dominique Demoss.
