Funeral arrangments have been netrusted to the Rhome Funeral Home Inc., 1209 Grand Blvd. Monessen where friends will be welcomed on Friday October 9, 2020 from 1-3 and 6-8 pm.Private funeral services will be held and burial will follow in the Monongahela Cemetery.The funeral home, as well as the family, would like to ask that all visitors please wear masks and practice social distancing.

Barbara E. Farnsworth, 81  of Monessen, passed away on Wednesday October 7, 2020 in the Canonsburg Hospital.She was born November 29, 1938, a daughter of the late Gene C. and Maxine L. Jones FarnsworthBarbara was a member of the United Methodist Church of Monessen.  She had also volunteered with "Meals On Wheels" and the Rainbow Girls.Barbara had been employed at Gimble's Department Store for 11 years and then Carlow College in the Human Resources Department for 34 years prior to her retirement.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her long time companion- Ernie Lattanzio, nephew- Daniel Sutovich, brothers in law- William Bergmark and Ronald Sutovich.Surviving are her sisters- Kay Bergmark and Maxine "TuTu" Sutovich,  niece- Wendy and her children Zoe and Rezon, and niece Laurie Ann Sutovich.
