Viewing/Services:
Friends and family are invited to celebrate her life at the Rhome Funeral Home in Monessen on Saturday March 6th for visitation from 10:00 am. to 12:00 pm. A brief service will be held in the funeral home chapel immediately after. Anyone wishing to attend the graveside is welcome to proceed after the service to Grandview cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to The Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh, Pennies from Heaven Fund.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, everyone planning to attend is asked to wear a face covering and practice social distancing.
We are holding onto beautiful memories as we share the news of the loss of our beloved mother, Betty L. Lencio of Monessen, who passed away March 3rd, 2021.
Betty was born in Monessen and lived there most of her life. She worked at Page Steel and Wire Co. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Monessen where she taught Sunday School and served as Superintendent for many years. She also enjoyed singing in the choir. She was a devoted volunteer at the ARC.
She always had a smile and a kind word for everyone. Her legacy of love and kindness will go on.
Betty was proceeded in death by her husband John Lencio, and her daughter Susan, her parents Robert and Kathryn Huscroft, and her brothers Malcolm and Robert Huscroft.
She is survived by her daughters, Nancy O'Neill and husband Frank; Kathy Feliu and husband Jerry; and Amy who will always hold the most special place in her heart. She is also survived by her sisters Kay Rock, Marion Dapra, and Evelyn Brown.
