Services: Funeral services will be held at Rhome Funeral Home Inc. at 8pm Thursday, June 21, 2012, the time of the service with Fr. Vincent Gigliotti officiating.

Obituary:
Bruce S. Lowther Sr. 62, of Monessen passed away Tuesday June 19, 2012 in the Oakland VA. Hospital Pittsburgh. He was born October 1, 1949 in Brooklyn NY. Son of the late Jesse and Estelle Turner Lowther. Mr. Lowther was a Viet Nam Veteran whom had served with the First Calvary Division. He was a member of the Keystone Division of PVA (Paralyzed Veterans of America).
Survivors include his wife, Paulette J. Lowther, three sons & daughter in-law; Bruce S. Lowther Jr. and wife Apryl, Brian A. Lowther, and Jason M. Lowther, four grandchildren, two sisters; Lois Garrett of TN, and Alice Grove of OH, five brothers; Jay Lowther, Mike Lowther, Frank Lowther, Philip Lowther, and Keith Lowther.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers Roland Lowther and Mark Lowther.
Visitation will held on Thursday June 21, 2012 in the Rhome Funeral Home Inc. 1209 Grand Blvd. Monessen from 1-3 & 6-8, the time of the service with Fr. Vincent Gigliotti officiating.
