Viewing/Services: Visitation will be held in the Rhome Funeral Home Inc. 1209 Grand Blvd. Monessen, on Wednesday from 2-4pm & 7-9pm. Additional viewing will be held Thursday in the Roscoe Presbyterian Church from 9 to 10am, the time of the service, with the Rev. Candace Cook officiating.
Interment: Please go directly to the church. Interment will follow in Howe Cemetery.
Obituary:
Carole L. Hill, 72, of Monessen, passed away March 17, 2013 in Mon Valley Hospital. She was born October 1, 1940 in Elco, daughter of the late Elmer Swalin and Olive Drury Swalin whom survives. Mrs. Hill was a member of the Roscoe Presbyterian Church, Roscoe.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her two sons and daughters in laws, Robert J. Hill Jr. and wife Pamela of Fayette City, Gary P. Hill and wife Beth of Daisytown, grandchildren Eli G. Hill, Lucas T. Hill, Shayla R. Hill, Ryder P. Hill, brothers, Robert J. Swalin and wife Shirley A. of Belair MD, and Elmer C. Swalin and fiancée Mary M. Corbett of Washington PA. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert J. Hill.
