Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Rhome Funeral Home Inc., 1209 Grand Blvd. Monessen, where friends will be welcomed on Monday from 1-3 and 6-8 pm.  Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday at 10 am. 

Burial will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park.  

Carrie J. Carson, 49 , of Smithton, formerly of Monessen, passed away on Wednesday April 12, 2023. She is the daughter of Lola Rock, whom survivesSurviving in addition to her mother are her siblings- Terri Matlock, Ada (Dan)Sterner, and Jonathan (Casey) RockNieces and nephews- Jordan Keleman, Carly Rock-Bond, Megan and Justin Sterner, Hanna Schickel and Gabriel Leach, Mia and Hayden Rock. Her life partner- Gregory Teegarden and his daughter Shaylee Teegarden.  Her beloved pets- Queenie and LexiCarrie was preceded in death by her grandmother- Ada Pierce.
