Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Rhome Funeral Home Inc., 1209 Grand Blvd. Monessen, where friends will be welcomed on Saturday, December 22 from 10:30 am until 11:30 am.  Funeral services will be held at Noon at St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Church of Monessen.

Interment will follow at the Grandview Cemetery of Monessen.

 

Memorial contributions in Catherine's name may be made to St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Church 1205 Grand Blvd. Monessen PA.

 

 

 

 

 

Obituary:

Catherine Croussouloudis. Kanes, 92 of Donora passed away on December 18 2018 in the Friends House Nursing Home of Sandy Springs MD, where she had resided for the past eight years..She was born October 20, 1926  in Monessen, ,a daughter of the late Constantine  and Helen Stamoolis Croussouloudis .She was a graduate of Monessen High School with the Class of 1944.  She had worked at Hornes/Lazuras Department Store in Pittsburgh from 1976 until her retirement in 1996,Catherine was a life-long member of St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Church of Monessen.Surviving are   Daughter, Aphy and husband Randy Lennon of Montgomery Village MD, and her Brother- John and wife Pauline Croussouloudis of Sewickley (formerly of Monesse), and several nieces and nephewsIn addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her Brother- George Croussouloudis, and Sisters- Marie J. Francis and Angeline Kafkalas
