Viewing: Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Rhome Funeral Home Inc., 1209 Grand Blvd. Monessen, where friends will be welcomed from 1-3 and 6-8 p.m., Thursday June 8.
Services:Funeral Services will be held in the funeral home on Friday, June 9, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Tim Burgan officiating. Interment will follow in the Belle Vernon Cemetery.
Obituary:
Charles Ray Shutterly, 82 , of Belle Vernon, passed away on Monday, June 5, 2017 in Mon Valley Hospital. He was born December 10, 1934 in Monessen, a son of the late Frank L. and Clara E. Hice Shutterly.
He was Methodist by faith. Ray truly loved driving trucks, and had been the Owner/Operator of Shutterly Trucking, as well as "Ray's Place" in Donora.
Surviving are his children-Scott and wife Christine Shutterly, Debra Rae Shutterly, Kurt and wife Terri Shutterly, Jon and wife Joy Shutterly, Dina and husband Barry Santoro, Leigh and husband Phillip Walker, Jamie Shutterly, and Kristen and husband Michael Slavik. Grandchildren- Jennifer and husband Cory, Kelly and husband Donnie, Michael , Tyler,Conor, Colby, Zackery, Blake, Brandon, Jenna, Steven, Makayla, Aiden, and Madison .Great grandchildren- Carly, Cooper, Mason and Brielle.Also surviving is his sister- Sherie Husher, and Numerous Nieces and Nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Janice Shutterly and his son- Cris A. Shutterly.
