Viewing:Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Rhome Funeral Home Inc., family owned and operated as a member of the Golden Rule, 1209 Grand Blvd. Monessen, where friends will be welcomed from 1-3 and 6-8, Wednesday, July 22.
Service:Services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, July 23, 2015 at 10:00 a.m.
Internment will follow at Grandview Cemetery, Monessen.
Obituary:
Charles T. "Sully" Sullenberger, 85 of Monessen,passed away on Sunday, July 19, 2015. He was born January 13, 1930 in Pricedale, a son of the late Robert and Gladys Quinn Sullenberger.
He was a member of Croatian Club, PNA, and Ukranian Clubs, all of Monessen. He worked as a Steelworker for American Chain and Cable Co. Page Division, prior to his retirement. "Sully" was a veteran of the United States Navy .
Surviving are his three daughters- Charlene Miller of Monesen, Judy and husband John Gibson of Long Branch, and Jill Brewer of Monongahela. Grandchildren- Tracy and husband Craig Burgman, of Monessen, Jeremy and wife Kristy Gibson, of Elizabeth, and Derek Brewer and fianc'e Jessica Bastion,of Monongahela. His great grandson, his pal, Bret Burgman. Brother- Ralph Sullenberger, and three sisters in law- Jeannine Jacobs, Ellen Utterback, and Jean Sullenberger. Several nieces and nephews also
survive.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Cora Arlene Sullenberger and Ten brothers and sisters.
