Viewing:Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Rhome Funeral Home Inc., family owned and operated as a member of the Golden Rule, 1209 Grand Blvd. Monessen where friends will be welcomed from 1-3 and 6-8, Wednesday, October 7 at the at the Rhome Funeral Home, Inc., Monessen, PA.
Service:Services will be held in the funeral home on Thursday, October 8, 2015 at 11:00 a.m.
Interment will follow in the West Newton Cemetery.
Obituary:
Clara E. "Betty" Shutterly, 100 of Belle Vernon,passed away on Saturday, October 3, 2015 in Hallsworth House, Monessen. She was born April 12, 1915 in Elwood City PA, a daughter of the late Ira and Hazel Firster Hice.
She was a member of United Methodist Church of Monessen, and a Life Member of the Order of the Eastern Star #205. She was a loving and caring person whom never hesitated to help others.
Surviving are her son- Charles Ray Shutterly and wife Janice of Belle
Vernon, Daughter- Sherie Husher of Bethel Park, Loving daughter in law-Julie Shutterly Eleven Grandchildren-, Scott, Debra, Kurt, Jon, Dina, Leigh, Jamie, Kristen, Lori, Gaye, and Dana. Nineteen Great Grandchildren, and Seven Great Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank L. Shutterly and Brothers-Raymond Hice, Richard and Gerald Dodds, Son in law- L. Kenneth Husher and a grandson- Chris Shutterly.
