Obituary:

David J. “DJ” Pierce III, 36 of Stoystown, PA, formerly of Monessen,   passed away  in Conemaugh Hospital, Johnstown on November 18, 2018.David was born  in Monongahela , on August 8, 1982 , son of  Dawn Shetterly  Wolford .David graduated Somerset High School and had served his country in the United States Marine Corps.Surviving are his  Daughters-, Aila Pierce, and Eva Pierce, Mother- Dawn Shetterly Wolford and  Step Father-Terry Scott, Grandmother, Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.David  was preceded in death by his  Grandfather, Raymond E. Shetterly .,a Brother, Ryan Shetterly, and his Wife, Shannah Pierce.David was a kind and giving person, as was evident in his unselfish donation of his organs at his death through CORE.
