Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Rhome Funeral Home Inc., 1209 Grand Blvd. Monessen, where friends will be welcomed on Sunday from 1-3 and 6-8 pm. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Monday at 11 :00 am with PAstor Rebecca Dittenhafer
officiating.

Donald Madzey Sr., 84 , of Stockdale, passed away on March 13, 2024 in Penn Highlands Mon Valley Hospital.
He was born in Monessen on September 9, 1939, a son of the late Michael and Anna Mikulak
Madzey.
Mr. Madzey was a member of St. John The Divine Russion Orthodox Church of Monessen, and had attended St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Monessen. He was a machinist for Wheeling
-Pittsburgh Steel, Allenport Plant, prior to his retirement. He was active with the Steelworkers Union and his High School Class Reunion Committee. Mr. Madzey was an avid Pittsburgh
Steeler fan, and loved spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife- Catherine Shaw Madzey, and his daughter and son inlaw- Lisa and Carl Helmantoler.
Surviving are his daughter- Tracy and husband Mark Lovett of Rostraver Twp., son- DJ and wife Stacey Madzey of Monessen, and his pride and joy, his "3 M's"- Grandchildren- Mark Lovett Jr. of Belle Vernon, Meghan Lovett of New York City, and Mason Madzey of Monessen.
