Obituary:
Donald C. Summers, 83 of Monessen, passed away on Thursday, June 2, 2016 in Havencrest, Carroll Twp. He was born January 12, 1933 in Monessen, a son of the late Donald and Mildred Deitsch Summers.
He was Catholic by faith. He worked as a Printer for The former Daily Independent and The Valley Independent newspapers. He had served his country in the United States Army.
Surviving are three daughters- Mildred Fluker, Donna Evans, and Anna Marie Hines. Five grandchildren A brother- Robert Summers, two sisters- Patricia Hutchinson, and Linda Campana.
He was preceded in death by his brothers- William, Martin, David, and James Summers.
