Obituary

Friends will be received on Tuesday, May 27 from 1 to 3p and 6 to 8p at the Rhome Funeral Home, 1209 Grand Blvd, Monessen PA 15062. A blessing will take place on Wednesday, May 28 at 9:30a at Rhome Funeral Home followed by a Christian burial mass at 10:00a at Epiphany of our Lord Roman Catholic Church, 44 Pennsylvania Blvd, Monessen PA, 15062.

 


Eleanor Pallini, 84, of Monessen, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loved ones. Eleanor was a loving wife, mom, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She will be remembered as being genuine, kind, and selfless. She was very devoted to her family and was cherished by everyone. Eleanor had great taste. She was beautiful and elegant and took pride in always looking her best. She also took pride in her home and garden. She loved her flowers, she was a great cook, she loved to thrift, and she had an eye for decorating. Her family always admired her beautiful front porch and holiday decorations. Eleanor was an attentive and supportive caretaker of many loved ones and gave herself unconditionally. Her loved ones valued her consistent sound advice. She was the greatest gift to her family.

Eleanor graduated from Charleroi High School in 1958. She was a longtime member of the Red Hats and she played cards with the same group of friends Nida, Judy, and Carol, for over 60 years.

Eleanor married the love of her life James Pallini on November 7, 1958 and they were married for over 65 years. They built a house together where they raised 4 children. Their home continued to serve as a gathering place for many generations including their 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren whom she loved dearly.

Every year, Eleanor looked forward to sitting in the sun with her husband during their winter stays at Indian Rocks Beach in Florida.

Eleanor is the daughter of the late Louis and Caroline Partazana. She is survived by her husband James Pallini, her siblings Louis (Barbara) Partazana, and Margaret Partazana, her children James (Suzanne) Pallini, Gina (Paul) Tarquinio, Vera Pallini, and Deanna Pallini, her grand-children Hunter (Jason) Tompkins, Foxx (Sadie) Pallini, Brandon (Lauren) Tarquinio, Mario Tarquinio, Alicia (Bernie) Kluczkowski, Santino Tarquinio, Connie Manderino, Gino Manderino, Chanler (Laymone) Bush, Ezra Guty, and her great-grandchildren Leighanna, Denver, Luciana, Delilah, Giavonna, Sienna, Elara, Elodie, Elayis, and one more on the way. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
