Viewing/Service:Friends will be received in the Rhome Funeral Home Inc. 1209 Grand Blvd. Monessen on Friday, May 24 from 3 to 7.
Prayers will be offered in the Funeral Home on Saturday May 25, 2013 at 11:30am followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 12 Noon in the Epiphany of Our Lord Church, Monessen.
Interment will follow in the Grandview Cemetery.
Obituary:
Eugene Battistone, 90, of Monessen, died Wednesday May 22, 2013 in the Consulate of North Strabane Nursing Home, Cannonsburg.
He was born July 7, 1922 in Monessen, Son of the late Frank and Antoinette Grillo Battistone. Mr. Battistone was a member of the Epiphany of Our Lord Roman Catholic Church, Monessen and the Sons of Italy. He had been a Glass worker for Corning Glass prior to his retirement. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers; Guido, Samuel, John, Romeo Battistone, and a sister Violet Pennline. Survivors include many Nieces & Nephews.
