Viewing/Services: Visitation will be held in the Rhome Funeral Home Inc. 1209 Grand Blvd. Monessen on Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8pm. Prayers will be offered in the funeral home on Wednesday at 9:15 followed by a funeral Mass at 10am in St. Sebastian’s Roman Catholic Church, Belle Vernon, with the Rev. Msgr. Roger A. Statnik officiating.
Interment: Entombment will follow in Grandview Cemetery, Monessen.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Mon Valley EMS or the Monessen Vol. Fire Dept. #2, through the funeral home.
Obituary:
Evelyn C. Palm, 86, formerly of Monessen, passed away Thursday February 14, 2013 in University Hospitals Ahuja, Beachwood OH. She was born July 22, 1926 in Monessen, daughter of the late Ercole & Leopoldina D’Alfonso Lattanzio. Mrs. Palm, a homemaker, was a member of the Epiphany of Our Lord Church, Monessen. In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her husband Herbert H. Palm and brothers; Bernard, Ernest, & Domenic Lattanzio. Survivors include a son & daughter in-law; Herbert & Carla Palm of York PA, two daughters and sons in laws; Patricia & Robert Zeh of Washington, PA, Diane & William McCracken of Macedonia OH, seven grandchildren; Christa Carr & husband Brian, William McCracken, Alissa McCracken & fiancé Mike Dervic, Heather Stanley & husband Cory, Michelle Zeh, Christopher Palm, & Angela Palm, four great grandchildren; Brandon Carr, Rachel Carr, Emma Dervic, and Kamryn Stanley, and a brother Silvio “Sam” Lattanzio of Ft. Paris FL.
