Viewing/Service: Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Rhome Funeral Home Inc., family owned and operated as a member of the Golden Rule, 1209 Grand Blvd. Monessen, where friends will be welcomed on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until 12 Noon, the time of service, with Rev Conrad Auel officiating.
Interment: Mon Valley Memorial Park, Donora

Evelyn Decker, 61, of Whitehall, passed away on Friday, August 9, 2013 in her home
She was a daughter of the late Joseph A. and Lola Moon Nichols Sr.
Ev was the beloved wife of Terry L. Decker. Also surviving are her daughters- Kristin and husband Brade Jackson, and Cherilyn and husband Jamal Hester. Three step children- Terry Lee and Michelle, Steven and Renee, and Heidi Decker. Her sister- Patricia and husband Bill Watson, and a sister in law- Karen Nichols
She will be sadly missed by her treasured grandchildren- Johnnie Mae, Heaven, Halena, and Jaylynn Hester and Phoebe, Pyper, and Braven Jackson, as well as her step grandchildren- Joshua, Justin, Shelby, and Zachary Decker. She also leaves behind five nieces, five great nieces and three great nephews. She will be greatly missed by her long time best friend, Roxanne Radacsy.
Ev was a graduate of Belle Vernon Area High School and of the Median School. She was a Certified Medical Assistant and worked many years in the medical field, ending her career as a Certified Medical Assistant Instructor.
She was preceded in death by Brother-Joey Nichols.
