Viewing: Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Rhome Funeral Home Inc. family owned and operated as a member of the Golen Rule, 1209 Grand Blvd. Monessen, where friends will be welcomed from 4-7 p.m. Saturday, July 26.
Service: Entombment will be at the convenience of the family in the Grandview Cemetery Mausoleum.
Obituary:
Georgetta I. Burger, 72 of Monessen, passed away on Wednesday, July 23, 2014 in Mercy Hospital of Pittsburgh. She was born August 20, 1941 in Keister PA, a Daughter of the late George
and Irene Hedegus Dohanich "Jet", as everyone knew her by, was an avid English Flower Gardening enthusiast prior to her illness. She really enjoyed her happy phone calls with her daughter Cindy, Sister Joan, and Cousin Denise Consonery.
Surviving are her husband, Joseph D. Burger, her daughter- Cynthia and husband Robert Rollings of Canonsburg, Sons- Joseph A. Burger and Raymie Burger at home, Grandchildren- Christopher Rollings,of Huston and Rebecca Rollings, of Canonsburg. Sister-Joan Dohanich of Fairhope. She will be sadly missed by her favorite cat B.B., as well as Jake, Cry Baby, and Peek A Boo. She was preceded in death by her son- Raymond M. Burger and a sister- Jean Dohanich Ciliberti Cathers.
