Viewing: Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Rhome Funeral Home Inc., family owned and operated as a member of the Golden Rule, 1209 Grand Blvd. Monessen where friends will bewelcomed from 1-3 and 6-9 on Friday April 25th.
Service: Funeral Mass on Saturday at 10 time, Fr. Michael Crookston officiating
Interment: Interment will follow at Grandview Cemetery of Monessen.
Obituary:
Gerry Minniti, 74, of Monessen passed away on Wednesday April 23, 2014 in Mon Valley Hospital, Carroll Twp.
Gerry was born September 11 in North Charleroi, a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (DeRocco) Diamante. In addition to her parents, Gerry was preceded in death by her son, Shuan Minniti. She was a member of the Epiphany of Our Lord Church of Monessen and a graduate of Monessen High School Class of 1957.
Gerry was an active member of her class reunion committee, enjoyed attending luncheons with her friends, and summers by the pool with her family. She always enjoyed attending and supporting her grandchildren at their sporting events and school activities. The highlight of her week was preparing a traditional Italian pasta dinner each Sunday for her family.
Surviving are her husband- Demetri Minniti Daughter- Kelly and husband James Sepesky Jr. of Monessen, a son- Jason and wife Stacy Minniti of Rostraver Twp. Grandchildren- Julian and Kolby Sepesky, Aiden, Jude and Arden Minniti Sister- Patsy and husband Robert Keffel of Monessen, numerous nieces and nephews and Simon, her African Grey Parrot.
