Services: Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 1, in the funeral home.
Interment will follow at Belle Vernon Cemetery.
Obituary:
Gloria O. Baker, 94, of Monessen, died Friday, May 27, 2016, in West Newton, where she resided since 2010. Born in Monessen on Jan. 3, 1922, she was a daughter of the late Diego and Athalia Zambelli and the wife of Cyril Eugene “Gene” Baker with whom she shared 58 years of marriage. Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents and husband, were two sisters, Dolores “Dolly” O’Toole and Norma Sacchini; and a brother, Theodore Zambelli. Survivors include two daughters, Debra Kacmar of Castaic, Calif., and Nancy Vranick with husband, Bob Vranick of West Newton; two sons and daughters-in-law, Larry and Pam Baker of Belle Vernon and Barry Baker and Jeanne White of Durham, N.C.; eight grandchildren, Keith, Kelly, Amber, Johnna, Shelby, Justin, Brady, and Jordan; and five great-grandchildren, Travis, Morgan, Kendra, Landyn and Annabelle.
