Viewing: Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Rhome Funeral Home Inc., family owned and operated as a member of the Golden Rule, 1209 Grand Blvd.Monessen, where friends will be welcomed from 1-3 and 6-8 on Wednesday and Thursday.
Service: A Blessing Service will be held in the funeral home on Friday at 9:30 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at the Epiphany of Our Lord Church of Monessen with Fr. Michael J. Crookston officiating.
Interment will follow in the Holy Name Cemetery, Monessen.

Helen D. Galaski, 96 years of Monessen , passed away on Monday, March 14, 2016 in Asbury Heights. Mt. Lebanon. She was born October 6, 1919 in Monessen, a, daughter of the late Andrew and
Suzanna Matsis Kerestes.
She was a member of the former Most Holy Name of Jesus Church, and presently a member of the Epiphany of Our Lord Church of Monessen. She was also a member of the Holy Name Christian Mothers, and the Slovak Heritage Society.
Surviving are her daughter- Paulette and husband Samuel P. Headley of Upper St. Clair, Grandchildren- Dr. Jennifer Headley of Washington D.C., and Major Theodore Headley, USMC Retired, and wife Shannon of Fredricksburg, VA, and great grandchildren- Samantha, Theodore, Isabella, and Nicholas Headley.
She was preceded in death by Husband- Ted "Teddy" Galaski, Brothers- John, Andrew, Steve, George, Mike, and Tom Kerestes and Sisters- Ann Chovan, Mary Chovan, and Margaret Kerestes.
