Obituary:

Helen Yankosky Godla, 89 of Perryopolis, passed away on FridaySeptember 21, 2018 in the Mon Valley Care Center.  Mrs. Godla was born  in Monessen, PA, on March 28, 1929. She and her late husband- Frank Godla, had owned and operated the Godla Mechanical HVAC, and Plumbing for numerous years Mrs. Godla was Ukrainian Orthodox by faith.She had enjoyed travel and was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Pirates.Surviving are her three sons- Gary and wife Lana Godla, of Perryopolis  Dr. Gregory and wife Paulette Godla, of Upper Saint Clair, and  Glenn Godla, of Belle Vernon  Gandchildren-  Melissa Sharma, of Madison NJ,  Ashley Nassaar, of Macungie PA, Christopher Godla, of Kapaa HI, and  Jillian Schwaelder Godla, of Pittsburgh.  A great granddaughter- Karina. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by, a Brother- Walter  Yankosky, and a Sister-Sophie Kurylo
