Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Rhome Funeral Home Inc., 1209 Grand Blvd. Monessen, where friends will be welcomed Wednesday, February 5, 2020,from 1:00 pm - 3:00   6:00 pm - 8:00 pmA Parish Rosary will begin at 12:30 pm in the funeral home on Wednesday Panachida Services will be held in the funeral home at 10:30 am on Thursday followed by Divine Liturgy  at St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church of Monessen with Fr. Stephen Wahal officiating, Interment will follow in the St. Mary's Cemetery, Rostraver Twp.

Obituary:

Helen  Panzo, 97 years , of Rostraver Twp. passed away on Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at her home.She was born  in Monessen, a daughter of the late John   and Mary Lakotas Desko .Helen  was a member of St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church of Monessen and the Church's Alter Guild .She worked as a Secretary  for the practice of Dr. Malcolm Weiss for many years prior to her retirement .Surviving are her children-  Gregory and wife April Panzo, of Eustis FL,   Richard and wife Trina Panzo, of Columbus OH,  Mark and wife Judy Panzo, of Washington PA, and  Daughter, Mary Beth and husband James Kissler, of Rostraver Twp. Loving niece and nephew Gerri Trembolak, and  Michael Desko. Grandchildren- Jennifer, Gregory, Katie, Michael, Matt, Nick, John, Natalie, Luke, Sophia, Elizabeth, Brooke, Melissa, Lauren, Julianne, and Paul.  Great grandchildren- Amelia, Miles, Preston, and JackShe was preceded in death by Husband, Gregory  Panzo., Sisters- Julia and Margaret, and Brothers- John, Michael, and George
