Viewing: Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Rhome Funeral Home Inc., family owned and operated as a member of the Golden Rule, 1209 Grand Blvd. Monessen , where friends will be welcomed from 1-3 and 6-8, Friday, February 22nd.
Services: A blessing service will be held in the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday followed by funeral services at 10:00 a.m. at St. John the Divine Russian Orthodox Church of Monessen . with Fr. Igor Soroka officiating.
A Parastas service will be held in the funeral home on Friday at 7:00 p.m.

Irene Biszaha, 89 , of Monessen,passed away Tuesday, February 19, 2013 in her home. She was born in Monessen, October 28, 1923 a daughter of the late John and Susan Hritz Gombos. She was a member of St. John the Divine Russian Orthodox Church of Monessen, as well as the Church's Alter Guilde. She worked at W.T. Grants of Monessen for numerous years as a clerk Surviving are her daughter-Claudia and husband Joe Miller, Grandson-Michael Miller,her sister- Eleanor Lauteri, Sisters In Law-Erminia Gombos and Madeline Duvall and Several nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Biszaha and Sisters- Mary von Glahn, Anne Lasky, Elizabeth Gombos, and Margaret Kelemen. Brothers-Robert, Harry, and John Gombos.
