Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Rhome Funeral Home Inc., 1209 Grand Blvd. Monessen where friends will be welcomed on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Blessing service scheduled for 10am at the funeral home.

 

Entombment will follow at Mon Valley Memorial Park, Donora.

 

 

Obituary:

Irene L. Veschio, 86, of Belle Vernon, formerly of Monessen, passed away Monday, december 3, 2018 in the Hallsworth House of monessen.

Irene was born in Monessen on January 11, 1932, a daughter of the late Stanley and Sophia Tadrzak Sitkowski.

Surviving are her Daughter-Vicki L. Veschio, of Belle Vernon, daughter Donna Jean and husband Ed Hoffman of Sutersville, son-William J. and wife Becky Veschio of Belle Vernon. Grandchildren-William Robert Veschio, Marla Rene and husband Lee Harvey and Cody Thomas Veschio. Four brothers in law-Helen and Val Gene Veschio, Tony Veschio, Timmy Veschio and Ralph and Dolores Veschio and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband- William T. Veschio and brothers and sister-Walter and Dorine Sitkowski, Raymond L. and Georgian Sitkowski, Victoria and Paul Kozemchak, and Victor and Minnie Sitkowski.
