Obituary

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Rhome Funeral Home Inc., 1209 Grand Blvd. Monessen, where friends will be welcomed on Friday May 12, 2023 from 1-3 and 6-8 pm.  Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Saturday May 13, 2023 at 11:00 am .

Interment will follow at the Belle Vernon Cemetery.

Janet L. Rotolo, 75 years old of Monessen, passed away peacefully, with her family by her side,  on May 9, 2023 in Jefferson HospitalShe was born  in Charleroi, July 6, 1947 a daughter of the late Glenn A. and Shirley D. "Beads" Bloyer Chew Sr.Janet graduated Rostraver High School and had been "Mardi Gras Queen" being crowned at the "Twin Coaches" She furthered her education at Califonia State Teachers College, and graduated from there.  Janet was a member of the First Christian Church of Monessen, having served as Organist for many years.   She was also a member of the Order of Eastern Star #205, where she was Past Worthy Matron, and the White Shrine of Jerusalem being a Past Worthy High Priestess. Janet and her late husband Richard Rotolo had owned and operated JLR Trucking, as well as "Rotolo's 3 Seasons"In addition to her parents and late husband, she was preceded in death by her brother- Glenn A. Chew Jr.Surviving are her daughter- Carissa Rotolo, son- Richard Rotolo, grandson- Gage Rotolo, Niece- Michelle Rotolo Spano, Nephew-Tony Rotolo, Sister in law- Cindy Kraus, and her childhood best friend and "Sister"- Donna Lewis Daugherty
