Viewing: Funeral arrangments have been entrusted to the Rhome Funeral Home Inc., family owned and operated as a member of the Golden Rule, 1209 Grand Blvd. Monessen where friends will be welcomed from 5-7 on Tuesday October 1st. and on Wednesday October 2.
Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association in Joe's name in lieu of flowers.
Obituary:
Joseph C. Teska, 66, of Monessen, passed away on Saturday, September 28, 2013 in Mon Valley Hospital.
He was born September 28, 1947 in Charleroi, a son of the late Chester and Ann Watroba Teska.
He was Catholic by faith. .
He worked as a Starter for Cedarbrook Golf Course for the past 13 years, and previously had been a sales associate at the former Rems Electric in Monessen
Joe graduated from Donora High School and had attended California University of PA. Joe was an Army veteran, having instucted Jungle Warfare in Panama during the Viet Nam War. Joe was an avid golfer and fan of the Pittsburgh Penquins. He also enjoyed model railroading, spending time with his family, and going to the track with his cousin Pete. Joe had touched a lot of lives at the Cedarbrook Golf Course and will be sorely missed by his colleagues there.
Surviving are his niece- Jennifer Teska, and several cousins and dear friends.
He was preceded in death by Brother- Edward Teska in addition to his parents.
