Joseph D. "JOZ" Maiolini

Viewing/Service:Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Rhome Funeral Home Inc., family owned and operated as a member of the Golden Rule, 1209 Grand Blvd. Monessen, where friends will be welcomed from 5-7:30 p.m., Friday, November 6. At 7:30 p.m on November 6, a time of reflection will occur.
Contributions may be made to the family through the funeral home.
Obituary:
Joseph D. "JOZ" Maiolini Jr., 57 of Monessen, passed away Sunday, October 25, 2015. He was born December 14, 1957 in Charleroi,a Son of Joseph D. Maiolini Sr., whom survives, and the late Marianna L. Savarino Maiolini.
"JOZ" was devoted deeply to his Christian Faith. He had worked in
construction and as a painter. He greatly enjoyed helping people and was an animal lover. His greatest joy however, was spending time with his granddaughters, whom he adored. Surviving are his daughter- Vanessa L. Mendicino of Belle Vernon and his
son-, Joseph R. Maiolini, of Monongahela. The mother of his children- Janet Cathers Woods, Granddaughters- Vayla and Vianna Mendicino, Sister- Noreen K. Maiolini, and his long time companion-Brenda Newman and her son Justin Newman. "JOZ" will also be missed by many friends, whom he always made smile. His charasmatic personality and generousity of spirit will be forever remembered.
He was preceded in death by his wife- Sheryl Maiolini in addition to his mother.
