Obituary

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Rhome Funeral Home Inc., 1209 Grand Blvd. Monessen, where friends will be welcomed on Wednesday, February 15, 2023,from  1:00 pm - 3:00 pm and 6-8 pm Services will be held in the funeral home on Thursday  , February 16, 2023 at 10:30 am.

Interment will follow in the Washington Cemetery. 

Kerry L. Kiefer, 65 , of Belle Vernon, passed away on Friday February 10, 2023 in Penn Highlands Mon Valley Hospital.He was born June 7, 1957 to the late Rodney L. and Joan P. Kiefer.He was preceded in death by his grandparents- John and Anne Pohlot and John and Lavurn Kiefer.Kerry was a 1975 graduate of BelleVernon High School.He was an avid model train, and classic car enthusiast.He was baptized Russian Orthodox, and maintained a Christian lifestyle.He worked as a Steelworker  for Latrobe Specialty Steel Company.  He had also worked at US Steel National Plant of McKeesport and various auto dealerships parts and service departments in his early working career.Survivors include his aunts-Judy Pohlot and Olive Staley, both of Monessen, and Pamela Hunnell, that was a very special part of his life.  He also will be sadly missed by his dog-Conrad, and his bird-Dayton.
