Viewing/Service: The family will greet friends at Rhome Funeral Home in Monessen, PA on Wednesday, May 10 from 1:00 - 3:00 pm and 6:00 - 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 11, 2017 at Rhome Funeral Home in Monessen, PA at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Grandview Cemetery in Monessen.

Obituary:
Lawrence A. Victoria, age 85, passed away on Thursday, May 4, 2017 at the Hospice by the Sea in Boca Raton. He was born May 26, 1931 in Monesson, PA to Nazareth and Susan Victoria. He is survived by his wife Donna; three sons Lawrence (Nancy) Victoria, Nazareth (Jill) Victoria II, and predeceased son John (Leslie) Victoria; two daughters Lisa (Mark) VanVoorhis and Regina (Robert) Sands; 11 grandchildren, Monica, Lorenzo, Ashley, Adam, Alexandra, Nazareth III, Nina, Ethan, Casey, Alexandra, and Brendon; one great-grandchild, Alivia; and his sisters Carol (James) Sepesky, and Emma Kotch. He was also blessed with many nieces and nephews.
Lawrence was a good man with a strong will and a kind heart. He was most passionate about family and deeply committed to being a voice of change. Lawrence spent many years building roads and relationships. Later in life, he found a calling for politics and served for several terms as Legislative Secretary to State Representative, Irv Slosberg. Lawrence loved to fly, sail, and most of all spend time with his family. As you look to the sky, or out to the sea, think of Lawrence, as that is where he loved to be.
A lifelong member of the Monessen Elks, Soloman Lodge No. 231, and the Scottish Freemasonry, Lawrence was committed to his community. His Florida accomplishments in the county and across the state were numerous. As the President of the Kings Point Democratic Club, he advanced the parties presence in Palm Beach County, and was outstanding in his efforts to assist the Kings Point Community and surrounding Delray Beach and Boynton Beach community associations. Through his work on events and election organization, Lawrence connected the people of Palm Beach County with the Florida Democratic Party and his lists of followers and those who admired him were endless. He had the opportunity to meet and mingle with Presidents, Vice Presidents, Senators, and numerous Legislators as a voice for seniors.
Known for his civic passion, Lawrence received many awards for keeping the community safe, including acknowledgment from the Traffic Safety Committee of the Palm Beaches; the Safety Council; the Kings Point Democratic Club, and Florida's Governor for his hard work on numerous bills. His was also recognized by state and county officials, law enforcement officers, and first responders.
