Viewing:Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Rhome Funeral Home Inc., family owned and operated as a member of the Golden Rule, 1209 Grand Blvd. Monessen where friends will be welcomed from 1-3 and 6-8, Thursday, October 29th.
Service:Services will be held in the funeral home on Friday, October 30, 2015 at 11:00 a.m.
Interment will follow in the Grandview Cemetery, Monessen.
Obituary:
Lee Russo, 89, passed away on Tuesday, October 27, 2015 in Mon Valley Hospital. She was born March 18, 1926 in Bentleyville, PA, a Daughter of the late Anthony R. and Theresa Sicchitano Malarbi.
She was a former member of the Epiphany of Our Lord Church of Monessen and presently a member of the Holy Cross Catholic Church of Youngwood. Lee had been the Owner/Operator of the Italian Hall Kitchen in Monessen 28 years prior to her retirement.
Lee enjoyed cooking, baking, was an avid reader, and enjoyed sporting events. Surviving are her daughters- Toni and husband Bob Shalansky, of Charleroi and Tanya and husband Bob Busch,of Hempfield Twp. Three grandsons- Brett Shalansky, Damion and Dane Busch. A brother- Tony Malarbi, of Bentleyville, and Numerous Nieces and Nephews and Great nieces and great nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mario Russo and Sisters- Marie Frameli and Josephine Huber and a brother- Nick Malarbi.
