Obituary

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Rhome Funeral Home Inc., 1209 Grand Blvd. Monessen, where friends will welcomed on Thursday from 1-3 and 6-8 pm. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Friday at 11 :00 am.

Leonard J. Vagnoni, 79, of Monessen passed away on Sunday September 29, 2024 at the
Grandview Estates of Elizabeth, with his wife and daughters by his side.
He was born on December 5, 1944 in Monessen, a son of the late Joseph and Frances Babinski
Vagnoni.
Leonard was Catholic by faith. He had retired as a Heavy Equipment Operator from the Local
#66. He had served his country in the United States Army, being stationed in Germany as a
Military Police Officer. Len was an avid hunter and Steelers fan. He loved poker nights with his friends and family, and could be found answering all "Jeopardy" questions.
Surviving are his wife-Rita Jampedro Vagnoni, Daughters-Shani Vagnoni Hull and husband
Chad,of Latrobe and Kelly Ostetrico and husband Mark of Rostraver Twp. Grandchildren­
Cassie Thompson and husband Carl, and Chuck Hull. Grand Dogs-Bella, Storm, Winnie, Dee Dee, Roman, Lourdes and Dominos. Several cousins and nieces and nephews.
