Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Rhome Funeral Home Inc., 1209 Grand Blvd. Monessen where friends will be welcomed on  Monday, January 7, 2019, from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm   6:00 pm - 8:00 pm Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 8, 2019, at  11:00 am in the funeral home with Rev. Patty Smith officiatingBurial will take place in the Mon Valley Memorial Park. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Obituary:

Margaret E. Smith, 93, of Charleroi, passed away on  January 3, 2019 at the Mon Valley Care Center.  She was born on July 28, 1925 to the late John and Saluda Strolher  Schuyler in Florence, SC.   Mrs. Smith had  attended the Belle Vernon Church of The Nazarene.  Margaret is survived by her   Son-, Vernon C. Smith Jr. of Belle Vernon, Daughter, Veretta and husband Michael Garrow of Charleroi;, and Son- Jack and wife Dorae Smith of Mononganela . Ten Grandchildren and Fourteen Greatgrandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her  Husband, Vernon C. Smith Sr., Son, James B. Smith Sr., Daughter-in-law, Linda Smith, Three Brothers,and  Three  Sisters.
