Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Rhome Funeral Home Inc., 1209 Grand Blvd. Monessen, where friends we be welcomed on Wednesday from 3-7 pm. A Blessing Service will be held in the funeral home on Thursday at 9:30 am, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am at the St Sebastian Roman Catholic Church of Belle Vernon with Fr. Michael J. Crookston officiating. Mary will be laid to rest next to her husband and son at the Holy Name Cemetery of MonessenIn lieu of flowers, donations may be made to OSPTA Homecare and Hospice.The Snyder Family would like to thank The Residence at Hilltop Personal Care Home, and the OSPTA hospice for theier care and compassion while keeping Mary comfortable.
Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery of Charleroi.

Mary B. Snyder, age 94, lifelong Monessen resident, was lifted from this earth on Sunday, December 15, 2019, to rejoin her fellow angels. , Daughter of the late John and Mary Klima Benyak of Summit Ave. Monessen .Mary was a faithful member of the Most Holy Name of Jesus, Saint Leonard, Epiphany of Our Lord, and Saint Sebastian parishes.Mary was born January 14, 1925 and graduated Monessen High School in 1942. She had worked as a cashier at the Star and Manos Theaters of Monessen, having met her husband at the "Manos". She later had worked as a secretary at Rosenson's Furniture before marrying in 1950. In addition to her beloved parents, she was preceded in death by her devoted husband- William, treasured sister- Irene (SCN), and in June of 2019, her son- Barry JoIn addition to her brother- John Benyak and wife Joan of Monessen, she is survived by her four loving children: William Christopher Snyder and wife Rebecca of Ligionier, Sandra Irene Lalley and husband Roderick of Oil City, Robert Mark Snyder and wife Maryanne of Bridgeville, and Nancy Grace Rodriguez and husband Rick of Jefferson Estates. She took special joy in her five grandchildren- Chad Holden and wife Jennifer of Los Angeles, Leighann Smith and husband Ryan of Chicago, Rachael Rodriguez and fianc'e Sam of Greensburg, Kyle Rodriguez of Westerville, and William Vincent Snyder of Ligonier. A great grandchild- Quinn Holden.Mary very much enjoyed her family and friends, keeping a nice home, being a part of the Hi Neighbor card club that spanned five decades, working crossword puzzles, volunteering at Monessen Public Library, and participating in school and Church activities. She acknowledged living a full life, and even through her last days, enjoyed reminiscing about the old times, including dances, her cherished friends, and the achievements of her family across four generations.
