Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Rhome Funeral Home Inc., 1209 Grand Blvd. Monessen, where friends will be welcomed on Friday, April 22, 2022 from 1-3 and 6-8 pm.  Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Saturday, April 23, 2022 with Pastor Sandy Fitzgibbons officiating.

  Interment will follow at the Grandview Cemetery of Monessen

 

Paul T."Fred"  Figel Jr., 70 , of Monessen passed away on Sunday April 17, 2022 at his residence.He was born March 17, 1952 in Charleroi to the late Paul and Rita Lyall Figel Sr.  He  was a graduate of Monessen High School with the class of 1970.  He had retired from the Monessen Coke Plant, and continued to stay busy with his many handyman projects.  Fred was an avid sports fan and loved spending time with his family.  He enjoyed boating and fishing at his beach house in Newell.Surviving are his wife- Jacquelyn Bergstedt Figel, Son- Paul T. Figel III, Sisters- Patricia A. Artim and Jacquelyn M. Newman, his loving dog "Morgan", and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
