Viewing: Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Rhome Funeral Home Inc., family owned and operated as a member of the Golden Rule, 1209 Grand Blvd. Monessen where friends will bewelcomed from 1-3 and 6-8, Tuesday, July 1st.
Service: Services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at 11:00 a.m.
Interment: Interment will follow at Grandview Cemetery of Monessen.
Obituary:
Paul Kerr, age 64 ,of Monessen, passed away on Friday, June 27, 2014 at his residence.
He was born April 30, 1950 in Charleroi a son of the late John and Anna Mae Kowell Kerr.
He was Russian Orthodox by faith and had attendend St. John The Divine Russian Orthodox Church of Monessen. Paul was also a member of the Monessen Eagles and several other social clubs
Paul was a Navy veteran of Viet Nam.
Paul was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping at Pymatuming and Erie Additionally, he enjoyed gardening, reading, the YMCA, and was an animal lover. He also enjoyed all Pittsburgh Sports Teams and attending Penquin games
He worked as a Machinist for World Kitchens in Charleroi prior to his retirement .
Surviving are his wife Maria Cabo Kerr and his daughter- Susan Kerr. Additionally surviving are various family members from the Mon Valley area as well as in Spain
He was preceded in death by a Brother- Matthew Kerr and several aunts and uncles.
