Obituary:
Pete Povich, 81, a resident of Transitions Health Care of Washington for the past 15 months, passed away on Saturday, April 16, 2016. He had resided in Fallowfield Twp for the past 15 years. He was born in Monessen on September 6, 1934, a son of the late George and
Anna Sutovich Povich.
He worked as a Steelworker for Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel , Allenport Plant for 43 years prior to retirement. Surviving are Son- Peter and wife Leslie Povich, of Washington, Daughter-Stacey Povich, of Jamestown, NY Grandchildren- Mark Patrick and fiance
Caitlin, Morissa and Kyle Marucci, Melody Lebowitz, Patrick Lebowitz, Jaynee Osborne, Nicole Jones, Chris and Mandi Pryor. Great Grandchildren- Aubrey Renee, Madelyn, Bennie, and Max. Brother and Sisters- Chuck and wife Claire Povich, Dolores and husband Jules Ostetrico, and Joyce McGowan. Sister in law- Karen Povich. Best friend- Mo Lebowitz, and Numerous Nieces and Nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lou Diethorne Povich and Brothers- Melvin, George, Thomas, Marko, Nick, and Stanley Povich, Sisters-Mildred Povich, Helen Bialon, and Pearl Weightman.
