Viewing: Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Rhome Funeral Home Inc., family owned and operated as a member of the Golden Rule, 1209 Grand Blvd. Monessen, where friends will be welcomed from 1-3 and 6-9 Sunday, November 29.
Service: Services will be held at the funeral home on Monday, November 30, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. James Mimidis officiating.
Interment will follow in the Mon Valley Memorial Park, Donora.
Obituary:
Richard D. Wilson, 76, of Monessen,passed away on Wednesday, November 25, 2015 in Jefferson Regional Hospital.
He was born August 16, 1939 in Monessen, a son of the late James V. and Thelma M. Gardner Wilson. He was Protestant by faith and was an avid hunter, and fisherman, having been a member of the Rostraver Sportsman's Club and the East Park Lake Fishing Club. Mr. Wilson had served his country in the United States Air Force.
He worked at the Monessen Coke Plant for numerous years and retired out of the Reversing Room. Surviving are his wife, Bonnie Kostelac Wilson , his Son- Daniel Wilson and companion Amy Martino of Monessen, Daughters- Deborah and husband Timothy
Moss of Canton MI, Wendy Bright and companion Richard Diehl of Elizabeth, and Jamie Yoney of Elizabeth Twp. Grandchildren- Ryan W. Wilson, Jesse Martino, Nicolette Roach, Heather Wilson, Samantha Wilson, Richard Wilson Jr., Roscoe Bright Jr., Justin Bright, Jaice Bright, and Erica Lynne Yoney. Step grandchildren- Brandon and Lindsay Moss. Sister- Lee Dale Wilson of Belle Vernon, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brother- David Wilson in addition to his
parents.
