Viewing: Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Rhome Funeral Home Inc., family owned and operated as a member of the Golden Rule, 1209 Grand Blvd. Monessen, where friends will be welcomed from 1-3 and 6-8, Monday, May 26.
Service: Services will be held at the funeral home, Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Ken Jones officiating.
Interment: Interment will follow at Grandview Cemetery of Monessen.

Rita J. Figel, 88 , of Monessen, passed away on Tuesday, May 20, 2014 in Mon Valley Hospital.
She was born January 27, 1926 in Morgan City, LA, a daughter of the late John and Margaret Gast Lyall.
She was a member of United Methodist Church of Monessen. Rita enjoyed sewing, refinishing furniture, gardening, was an avid Steeler, Penquin, and Pirate fan, and had greatly enjoyed her family. She loved to travel to Louisiana to visit family and was a huge fan of Elvis Presley
Surviving are her husband, Paul T. Figel two daughters- Patricia Artim of Thompson,Ohio and Jacquelyn and husband Frank Newman of Charleroi, a son- Paul "Fred" and wife Jacqueline Figel of Monessen, Grandchildren-Keith Artim, Erik Artim, Tracy Amati, Larry Amati, Shannon Amati, and Paul Figel. Great grandchildren- Michael Artim, Tyler Hoffacker (step), Steven McGee, Michael Amati, Jesse VanPool, Crystal VanPool, Brandi Amati, Gage Amati, Giavonna Pate, Nycere Amati, Alyssia Figel.Great great grandchild- Arabella Early. A sister- Amy Alfred and husband Callan of Morgan City, LA
She was preceded in death by Sister- Evelyn Drudul and a. Son in law Michael Artim.
