Family, extended family, and close friends will gather at the Rhome Funeral Home Inc., 1209 Grand Blvd. Monessen for a Memorial Service.

Sandra Lee Walters, "LeeLee", age 77 of Monessen, passed away on Saturday July 27, 2024 at Penn Highlands Mon Valley Hospital.
She was born in Charleroi on November 30, 1946, a daughter of the late Steve and Helen
"Minnie" Bova Soroka
She was a Sewing Machine Operator by occupation, She was an amazing baker and the family's expert halupki maker.
"Lee Lee's" greatest pride and accomplishment was her devotion to her family. Taking care of, fiercely protecting, and keeping her family close was her life's mission that she accomplished with unwavering determination and strong will. That strength in her convictions was her lasting legacy along with her staunch loyalty to what she loved.
She was Baptized, and united in marriage at her beloved St. John the Divine Russian Otthodox Chw·ch of Monessen.
May her Memory be Eternal.
Surviving are-the father of her children- Larry Walters. Her son-Brian Walters and wife Delana, Daughter- Michelle Walters, Grandchildren- Abigail (Lukas), Joshua , Ethan, Jay lie, and Anthony. Her sister- Stephanie Zemba, Godson-Scott Zemba,and very special niece Amy Cooper (Carl).
Great nieces- Victoria (Jacob) Olivia, Mackenzie (Chuck) and her former daughter in law Kristin Walters. Also surviving are several cousins and her beloved dog "Mokie".
ln addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter- Helena Noi.
