Viewing: Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Rhome Funeral Home Inc., family owned and operated, 1209 Grand Blvd. Monessen, where friends will be welcomed from 1-3 and 6-8, Friday, September 15th.
Services:The funeral will be formed at the funeral ome on Saturday and funeral services will begin at 10:00 a.m. at St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Church of Monessen with Fr. Joseph Cervo officiating.
Entombment will follow in the Belle Vernon Cemetary Mausoleum, Belle Vernon.
Susan loved flowers, or one may honor her memory by donating to the "Anthony J. Fafalios Children's Foundation " through the funeral home. Thank you so very much.
Obituary:
Susan Matsick Fafalios, age, 60, of Belle Vernon, passed away peacefully on September 11, 2017 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Charleroi on April 26, 1957, a daughter of the late Thomas Matsick and Cecelia Ann Smith Matsick, whom survives.
Susan was a member of St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Church of Monessen, where she had volunteered with numerous church activities.
She enjoyed music, theatre, and Broadway musicals. Susan loved time with her family and especially her grandchildren.
Surviving are her husband, John C. Falfalios, daughter and son-in-law, Angela and husband Shaun Baker, grandchildren, Gabriella, Alexis, and "S.J." Baker, brother, Michael and wife Terri Matsick, sister, Pamela Lynn, sister, Anna Marie Gaskill, brother, Thomas Matsick, brother-in-law, Nick and Jackie Fafalios, sister-in-law, Maria and Grant Hess, sister-in-law, Athena "Tina" Sefchok, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her son, Anthony J.Fafalios and brother-in-law Jeffrey Sefchok.
