Interment will follow in the Grandview Cemetery, Monessen.
Contributions may be made to the St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Church of Monessen in lieu of flowers.
Obituary:
Theodore Alatsis, 84 , of Monessen, passed away Saturday, October 31, 2015 in Hallsworth House of Monessen. He was born August 23, 1931 in Monessen, a Son of the late John and Julia Drupko Alatsis.
He was a member of St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Church of Monessen.and the Monessen American Legion. He worked as a Pipefitter for Plumber and Pipefitters Union #354. Ted enjoyed wood carving, decoy making, and attending Duck Shows. A stellar athlete at Monessen High School, he was the first to Letter in all three
major sports- Football,as a Quarterback, Basketball, and Baseball as a First Baseman in every year of High School. He had graduated in 1948.
Surviving are his wife Barbara Ann Milasincic Alatsis and a Son-John
Alatsis of Columbus, OH, Daughter, Lara Alatsis, Nieces and their
husbands-Janet and Nino Forlini and Nikki and Paul Mornak, his didter in law- Catherine Alatsisand Numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
He was preceded in death by Sister- Julia Milkent and a brother- Nick Alatsis.
