Viewing: Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Rhome Funeral Home Inc., family owned and operated, 1209 Grand Blvd. Monessen, where friends will be welcomed from 1-3 and 6-8, Monday, July 17 .
Services:Services will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at 10:00. The Mid Mon Valley Shipmates will conduct a “Two Bell Ceremony” in the funeral home on Monday evening at 7:00 p.m.
Interment will follow in the Grandview Cemetery, Monessen.
Obituary:
William E. Harper, 68 , of Monessen, passed away on Friday, July 14, 2017 in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was born October 6, 1948 in Charleroi,a son of the late Donald and Wanita Kidwell Harper. He was a United States Navy Veteran having served during Viet Nam, and was a member of the American Legion #945. Bill was Methodist by faith. He worked as a Electrician for IBEW Local #5 . Surviving are his daughters- Ann and husband David Orum, and Leigh Harper, both of Monessen. His granddaughter- McKenna Harper. Sister- Dawn Devore. Companion- Bruna Galati, and numerous nieces and nephews In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister- Colleen Bucci and two brother in laws- Delbert Bucci and Lawrence Devore.
