Viewing: Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Rhome Funeral Home Inc., family owned and operated as a member of the Golden Rule, 1209 Grand Blvd. Monessen, where friends will be welcomed from 1-3 and 6-8, Tuesday, April 5th.
Service: Services will be held Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home.
Interment will follow in the Mon Valley Memorial Park, Donora.
Obituary:
Cheryl "Cherry" Loukas, 70 of Irwin, passed away on Friday, April 1, 2016 in Hallsworth House of Monessen. She was born July 19, 1945 in Penn Hills, a daughter of the late John and Margaret Bryne.
She was Lutheran by faith, and also attended St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Church of Monessen. She worked as a School Teacher for Penn Hills School District, having taught Business Class prior to her retirement. She had worked for H & R Block for several years. Ms. Loukas was an avid golfer, and enjoyed reading..
Surviving are her sons- Michael Loukas of Monessen and Matthew and wife Linda Loukas of Jefferson Hills. Frandchildren- Ryan and Nathan Loukas. A brother- David and wife June Bryne of FL, family member- Bernard, and her loving pet "Bailey" . Several Nieces and Nephews also survive.
