Obituary:

Pittsburgh, PA Donald L. Kowall,  age 80 of Pittsburgh ,formerly of Monessen  , passed away Wednesday October 10, 2018 in his home.He was born  in Monessen , January 20, 1938, a son of the late John and Helen Martin Kowall  .Don had been a PA State Constable for 41 years.He was a member of St. John the Divine Russian Orthodox Church of Monessen.  Don was an avid Hunter and Fisherman and had belonged to the Charleroi Sportsmans Club. Worked at US Steel for 12 years. Was Code Enforment Officer for the city of Monessen. Worked at Lou's Brews for the past 12 years. Surviving are his daughters-   Dawn Evans Obusek, Doreen Kowall Harris, Debi Kowall Sands, and Daneen Kowall, Grandchildren- Christina and Katelyn, David "T.J.", Tyler, Devin, Garrett, "Little Girl" Taylor, Dennis Jr., and  Deanna,  A great grandchild-Daxton.  The mother of his daughters- Ginger, and his dog "Poogie"In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters- Patty and Carol, and his beloved dog "Raven" .
