Viewing: Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Rhome Funeral Home Inc., family owned and operated as a member of the Golden Rule, 1209 Grand Blvd. Monessen, where friends will be welcomed from 1-3 and 6-8, Friday, November 16.
Services: Services will be held at in the funeral home chapel Saturday, November 17, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. with Fr. Fred Pfeil and Deacon Glenn Mcintyre officiating.
Contributions may be made to the St. Elliens Orthodox Church of Brownsville through the funeral home in lieu of flowers.
Interment: Grandview Cemetery, Monessen
Obituary:
Lorraine E. Essey, 83 of Monessen, passed away Tuesday, November 13, 2012 in her home. She was born March 24, 1929 in Monessen, PA, Daughter of the late Joseph and Anna Ondulick Popovich. She was a member of St. Elliens Orthodox Church of Brownsville and the
Monessen Senior Center, where she was very active and had served as an officer for many years. Mrs. Essey lived for her family and greatly enjoyed time spent with them. Surviving are her two daughters- Karen and Husband Michael Bryan of Uniontown , Debra Essey and fianc'e Gary Gadley of Champion, Grandson-Michael John and wife Anderli Bryan of Boston, MA, Granddaughter- Kelly and
husband Christian Vanass of Hagerstown, MD, Five great grandchildren-Hayden, Elizabeth, and Maylin Bryan, and Madison and Lauryl Vanassa. She was preceded in death by her husband, Emil Essey and Sisters- Helen Wanzilak, Margaret Gazdik, and a brother- Joseph Popovich.
