Viewing: Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Rhome Funeral Home Inc., family owned and operated as a member of the Golden Rule, 1209 Grand Blvd. Monessen, where friends will be welcomed from 2-4 and 6-8 on Thursday, January 7, 2016

Services: Funeral Services will be held at Lynwood Lutheran Church on Friday, January 8 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Matthew Stabe officiating.

Memorial Contributions in Mrs. Snyder's name may be made to the Lynwood Lutheran Church 900 Washington Rd. Belle Vernon PA 15012 in lieu of flowers.

Interment will follow in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.

Obituary:

Lorraine Finello Snyder, 68 of Belle Vernon,(Lynnwood)passed away on Tuesday, January 5, 2016 in her home.

She was born October 9, 1947 in Pittsburgh , a Daughter of the late John and Caroline Gennuso Finello. Lorraine attended Pittsburgh Public School system and graduated from South Hills High School. Immediatly following graduation, Lorraine began a career
with Gimble's Department Store in Pittsburgh. Shortly after, she began a new career with Westinghouse Credit Corp. as an Administrative Assistant, and remained for 28 years until her retirement in 1993. Prior to her retirement, she met the love of her life, Allen Snyder, and it was then that they would marry and enter into a partnership that would last for the rest of their days.

Lorraine was one of God's gentle creatures. She cared deeply about people, and her home was always open to friends, guests, and strangers. She loved traveling with Allen, and especially going to Florida and ocean cruises. She was an animal lover, especially the bunny rabbits that called her yard their home.

Lorraine was a former member of the Mt. Lebanon Christian Church, and currently a member of the Lynwood Lutheran Church. She was always willing to lend a helping hand when called upon at the Church Surviving are her husband, Allen D. Snyder.
