Private funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Rhome Funeral Home Inc., 1209 Grand Blvd. Monessen.

Burial was held in the Belle Vernon Cemetery.

Obituary:

Margaret Jean Evans, age 90, of Monessen passed away on March 30, 2020 in Country Manor of Kittaning.

She was born in Pittsburgh on June 18, 1929, a daughter of the late James E. and Ann Saliek Boyer.

Margaret had been a member of the former St. Leonard's Roman Catholic Church of Monessen, as well as the Ladies Guild and CDA.  She had also been a volunteer with the Auxiliary of Mon Valley Hospital.

She was preceded in death by her husband- Frank Evans Sr., her son- Frank Evans Jr. , a sister- Mary Ellen Zlatovich and a brother- John G. Boyer.

Surviving are her son- Scott J. Evans and wife Mary Beth, grandsons- Mitchell and Justin Evans, and several nieces and nephews.
